The Academy’s Tax Committee has updated the “7702, Valuation Rate, and Applicable Federal Interest Calculator” general reference spreadsheets to assist actuaries who wish to explore the calculation, which includes the components used in determining such minimum rates based on the valuation interest rate and applicable federal interest rate. This update replaces the older version and is updated with the Moody’s rates through June of 2026.
