Jun. 16, 2026
Time:12:00PM to 1:30PM EDT
Registration Closes:Jun. 16, 2026
ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
This webinar will provide an in-depth look at a newly developed practice note created by the Medicaid Committee, which formed a subcommittee of volunteers focused on actuarial services involving the application of risk adjustment models within Medicaid managed care programs. Given that these actuarial services influence more than $400 billion in Medicaid managed care revenue annually across the United States, understanding the underlying methodologies is critical for professionals working in this space.
During the session, presenters will walk through the key concepts, approaches, and methodologies outlined in the practice note, offering insight into how risk adjustment models are developed and applied in real-world settings.
By the end of the webinar, attendees will:
- Understand the key methodologies and concepts presented in the practice note;
- Identify current practices used in the development and application of risk adjustment models;
- Recognize how risk adjustment impacts Medicaid managed care programs and financial outcomes; and
- Apply practical considerations when working with risk adjustment models in real-world scenarios.
