ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The P&C Committee on Equity and Fairness (PCCEF) will present key insights from its forthcoming paper on Bias in Commercial Multiperil Policies. This session will also explore preliminary findings from the Research Committee and PCCEF’s survey on bias, along with updates from the unequal distribution of risk outreach project and recent regulatory engagement.
After this webinar, attendees should recognize:
- Understand how bias can emerge within P&C insurance models, assumptions, and decision-making processes;
- Identify key findings from the Research and Edits survey on bias and their implications for actuarial practice;
