ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

What does the Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline (ABCD) do — and what does it mean for you as a practicing actuary?

Join us for this webinar as we examine the ABCD’s two core functions: providing confidential guidance to actuaries navigating tricky professional situations, and investigating conduct that may fall short of professionalism standards. We’ll also walk through a handful of case studies based on issues brought before the ABCD and take a look at what an actuary should think about when facing a professionalism conundrum.

By the end of this webinar, attendees will:

  • Better understand the ABCD inquiry and request for guidance (RFG) processes.
  • Better understand what to consider when facing common professionalism issues; and
  • Be more comfortable submitting an RFG.
