ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The Academy’s Life GAAP Reporting Committee and the RMFRC Financial Reporting Committee recently responded to FASB’s agenda consultation invitation to comment. The committees highlighted several areas where we believe U.S. GAAP accounting for long-duration insurance contracts needs improvement, even after the implementation of LDTI.

During this webinar, the speakers will:

  • Identify the areas where the LGRC and FRC felt US GAAP accounting could use continued discussion, and why
  • Discuss the committees’ proposed solutions to those issues
  • Discuss the comments FASB received on these issues from other parties, such as ACLI and AICPA
