The Health Equity Committee has released its first issue brief in the “Broadening the Focus: Evaluating Health Care Programs” series, Perspectives on Return on Investment. The brief provides results from interviews conducted with subject matter experts related to health care program evaluations, with a focus on advantages and disadvantages of traditional financial return on investment (ROI) metrics. Using outputs from these interviews, stakeholder discussions, and other feedback, the Committee will draft a holistic principles-based framework to support evaluating health care programs for release in Spring 2026.
