As federal policymakers consider critical next steps on artificial intelligence, climate risk, insurance access and affordability, and the aging U.S. population, the Academy is launching its inaugural Spring Policy Summit to advance actuarial perspectives on these pressing issues. This timely summit will provide actuaries with a focused opportunity to deepen their understanding of the policy landscape during a pivotal midterm election year.
What to Expect
This day of continuing education programming will feature leading Academy volunteers, representatives from Capitol Hill offices, federal agency staff, and key stakeholder groups. Gain valuable perspectives on the current policy and political environment through expert panel discussions and engage directly with stakeholders who are shaping the conversation with an opportunity to enhance your professionalism skills.

LOCATION
The Summit will be held at the Royal Sonesta Washington, D.C. – Capitol Hill. Its convenient location near Union Station will make travel easy, whether you’re arriving by train or Metro.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your registration, the Academy will refund the registration fee, minus $50 for administrative fees, for cancellations received by February 20. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after this date. All requests for cancellation or transferring your registration must be made in writing by email to education@actuary.org.
