DETAILS

The National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) is an organization of state legislators whose main area of public policy concern is insurance legislation and regulation. Many legislators active in NCOIL either chair or are members of the committees responsible for insurance legislation in their respective statehouses. In this webinar, former NCOIL President Rep. George Keiser discusses how NCOIL contributes to the development of insurance policy at the state level.

The webinar covered:

  • NCOIL’s mission, structure and governance;
  • How NCOIL impacts state insurance policy;
  • Current state insurance issues (international, property/casualty, health, pension and life); and
  • The role that industry, consumers and other stakeholders play with NCOIL.
