ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

During this webinar, members of the Academy’s Non-Guaranteed Elements Subcommittee will provide a comprehensive discussion of the key points included in the recently released Actuarial Standard of Practice (ASOP) No. 2 Practice Note.

• Recognize key elements of ASOP No. 2, which deals with Non-Guaranteed Elements in life insurance and annuity products, based on the Practice Note which offers an analysis of issues and recommended practices based on the ASOP.
• Examine the circumstances in which insurers have the right to exercise discretion to prospectively change a non-guaranteed element to be within the scope of ASOP No. 2.
