The Academy’s mission is to serve the public and the U.S. actuarial profession. My service on the Board will allow me to:
Help ensure sound actuarial analysis is provided on critical policy issues, particularly as they relate to health and long-term care. The Academy relies on volunteer resources to provide much of the work and analysis on important actuarial issues. My service will allow me to help ensure those resources are used wisely and to help find ways to increase the level of volunteer work that can be accomplished. I look forward to helping make the important decisions required of the Board to ensure that the Academy and the actuarial profession continue to be held in the highest regard, particularly with respect to informing public policy, and public policy decision makers.
