David E. Neve

David Neve is currently vice president and consulting actuary for Actuarial Resources Corporation of Georgia. He has more than 40 years of actuarial experience in capital management, reserve valuation, financial reporting and forecasting, regulatory and government affairs, and enterprise-wide risk modeling. Neve began his career at the Principal Financial Group, where he held several positions over his 31 years there, including the company’s appointed actuary. Prior to joining ARC-GA, Dave was with the Global Atlantic Financial Group and its predecessor company, Aviva USA, where he served as vice president and divisional chief actuary and appointed actuary.

Neve recently completed a term on the Board of the Directors of the Academy as vice president and chair of the Life Practice Council. He has served on many Academy work groups and committees, including the Life Valuation Committee, the Life Reserve Work Group, and the PBR Strategy Subgroup. Neve is a frequent speaker at industry and actuarial conferences, seminars, and webinars.

Neve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Wartburg College, and a Master of Science degree in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
