The Academy’s 2021 Annual Meeting and Public Policy Forum was held as a hybrid event on Nov. 4–5. Attendees had the option to join us at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C., or virtually.

The Academy’s Annual Meeting and Public Policy Forum brings together actuaries, policymakers, and other subject matter experts for an in-depth examination of important current and emerging public policy and professionalism issues. This highly regarded event’s breakout sessions this year explored top public policy issues specific to each of the health, life, property/casualty, and pension practice areas, featuring key stakeholders and subject matter experts in those fields of policy and practice, while the plenary sessions offered broad examinations of today’s top public policy and professionalism issues.
