The Academy’s mission is to serve the public and the U.S. actuarial profession. How will your  service on the Board allow you to further the Academy’s mission of public policy and  professionalism?

I’ve been volunteering at the Academy for about a decade and am proud to have played a part in  advancing the Academy’s mission and upholding its core values. At its best, the Academy is a  trusted advisor to policymakers. When policymakers know they can rely on the expertise and professionalism of Academy volunteers, they are well equipped to maintain the solvency and  stability of the financial security systems in the United States. As a Board member, I will focus on  ensuring that the Academy continues to deliver on its promise of expertise and professionalism.
