The Academy’s mission is to serve the public and the U.S. actuarial profession. How will your service  on the Board allow you to further the Academy’s mission of public policy and professionalism?

I view service on the Academy Board as an opportunity to give back to a profession that has been the  foundation of my career and that plays an important role in supporting stronger financial futures for  individuals and communities. Through Board service, I would advance the Academy’s efforts to provide  policymakers with independent, objective actuarial expertise and ensure our profession remains a  trusted voice on issues that affect financial security and risk.

I would also welcome the opportunity to contribute to the Academy’s commitment to professionalism by  upholding high standards of ethical practice and continuous learning. Throughout my career, I have seen  the value of bringing together diverse perspectives to solve complex challenges. In Board service, I would encourage that same collaborative approach through inclusive, thoughtful dialogue to shape solutions  that serve the public interest. By fostering connections across practice areas, I would further the  Academy’s ability to earn public trust, create value for members, and advance the profession with  integrity.
