Academy Rising Actuary Award
Young actuary leaders represent the future of the actuarial profession, bringing innovation, new perspectives and skills, and an embrace of leadership roles to guide it into the future. They are essential to the continuing success and growth of the U.S. actuarial profession. Through national recognition by the Academy, the Rising Actuary Award encourages the development and emergence of actuarial leaders who are Academy members and are:
- 35 years old and younger, or
- Credentialed 5 years or less as of Jan. 1, 2024.
Academy members who meet these eligibility requirements are eligible to be nominated.
Nominations should highlight the dedication of nominees to principles of actuarial professionalism and their corporate, social, nonprofit, and/or professional leadership roles inside or outside of the American Academy of Actuaries that reflect a commitment to leading our profession.
Award recipients will be recognized at the Academy’s annual meeting in the fall.
Nominations for the 2024 Rising Actuary Award are now closed.
