Frank Irish
Highlights
A 1954 graduate of Swarthmore College, Irish began his actuarial career as a summer student at Prudential.Beginning as a member of the Life Committee of the ASB in 1992, Irish became a member of the ASB in 1994 and served there for six years, including a stint as ASB vice chairperson in 1999. At the same time, he served as a member of the Academy’s Life Practice Council, its Financial Reporting Council, and as a member of an Academy Task Force on Insurer Solvency. In 2000, Irish moved over to the ABCD, where he served as vice chairperson in 2001, 2002, and 2005, and as chairperson in 2003 and 2004. During that time, he was also a member of the Academy’s Council on Professionalism.
