June 7 to 9, 2021 | Agenda
The Academy’s popular PBR Boot Camp is back—and this time it is geared for those who are new or relatively new to principle-based reserving (PBR) and are interested in hearing lessons learned from those who have been at the forefront of the implementation. If you recently went through PBR for the first time, this seminar is for you.
Participants will benefit from the depth of experience and knowledge of the presenters for this highly regarded seminar and will have the opportunity to earn valuable continuing education (CE) credit in a convenient format. The agenda for this virtual seminar will provide you with comprehensive information on PBR requirements now that PBR is fully implemented.
What’s on the agenda?
- Day One: External reviews of PBR, model overview and model governance, and reserve change analysis and pricing projections.
- Day Two: Overviews of life insurance: implementation of VM-20, mortality, additional liability assumption, and reinsurance.
- Day Three: Assets overview, standard projection methodology, and sample reports.
There will be opportunities for questions and answers throughout the event with time during each session to submit questions to the presenters, and each day ends with a dedicated open question-and-answer session that covers all of the day’s content, giving you a chance to talk with the instructors and with other attendees.
Prefer to focus on a particular aspect of PBR? Daily rates are available so you can attend the day or days that have content most relevant to you. Join us June 7-9—register today.
