ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
For our fall professionalism webinar, our speakers looked at reliance in our work, including:
- A General Overview on Reliance, including the Actuarial Standards Board (ASB)’s general approach to reliance, and how disclosure and other general principles apply.
- Reliance on Other Actuaries. The use of mini-case studies for each practice area highlighted how actuaries can deal with issues related to relying on other actuaries.
- Reliance on Non-Actuaries. The use of mini-case studies for each practice area highlighted how actuaries can deal with issues related to relying on non-actuaries.
