ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
As issues involving U.S. retirement security have become more pressing than ever, there is an increasing need for the establishment of a comprehensive national retirement policy that articulates guiding principles for the U.S. retirement system. This Capitol Forum, hosted by the American Academy of Actuaries, discussed key elements that such a national retirement policy should address in order to be successful. These key elements are discussed in detail in a recent issue brief published by the Academy. We also engaged in dialogue with policy experts who presented a diverse range of views on guiding principles that should be included in such a policy and how such a policy could be effectively implemented.
