Presented by the Academy's Council on Professionalism, this was the third and final webcast designed to help actuaries prepare for the implementation of the revised Qualification Standards. About 500 actuaries participated.

Content
The 90-minute webcast offered an overview of the revised Qualification Standards, focusing on important changes in the standards, as well as details for meeting the revised qualification requirements. The content and presentation of the webcast were similar to that of the to previous two webcasts (Sept. 20, 2007 and October 19, 2007)
- Kathleen Riley, Chairperson of the Academy's Committee on Qualifications and Vice Chairperson of the Council on Professionalism
- Mary Frances Miller, former President of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the Academy's Committee on Qualifications
- Karen Nowiejski, a member of the Academy's Committee on Qualifications
- Sheila Kalkunte, the Academy Assistant General Counsel and Liaison to the Council on Professionalism and the Committee on Qualifications
CE credit
The Academy believes, in good faith, that this webcast qualifies as a "recognized organized activity" under the Qualification Standards for Prescribed Statements of Actuarial Opinion currently in effect. Attendance at the Dec. 10, 2007, webcast, or viewing and listening to the entire recording of the webcast, may earn the participant 1.8 continuing education credits under the Qualification Standards for Prescribed Statements of Actuarial Opinion.
CE credit for EAs. This webcast is cosponsored by the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, which is recognized by the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries as an approved CE provider. Attendance at the webcast may earn enrolled actuaries 1.8 EA core credits from the Conference. At the end of the webcast, participants will be provided with the URL link to obtain a certificate from CCA for EA credit purposes.
