This webinar focused on the Academy's positions and responses to the IASB Insurance Contracts Exposure Draft and accompanying FASB Discussion Paper, Preliminary Views on Insurance Contracts. Presenters provided an overview of the comment letters submitted to the IASB and FASB. The panel also discussed the activities of the IASB's Insurance Working Group and the joint IASB/FASB roundtable meetings on Insurance Contracts, as well as a projected timetable for IFRS.
