PBR Fall Boot Camp
Principle-based reserving (PBR) is here. The Academy is hosting its popular “PBR Boot Camp” this fall, but with a focus on regulators and those who work closely with them to implement and audit principle-based reserving (PBR). This seminar will offer new content, designed with regulators in mind, that will deliver instructional sessions and interactive case studies to provide attendees with key learning experiences. The seminar will be held at the Westin Las Vegas. The Academy’s room block is now closed. Make sure to note that you are attending the Academy’s PBR Boot Camp when making your reservation. When making your travel plans, keep in mind that the seminar will start early on Sept. 11.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
The American Academy of Actuaries believes in good faith that your attendance at the “PBR Boot Camp: Basic Training and Beyond for Principle-Based Reserving Implementation” seminar may constitute relevant continuing education and an organized activity as defined under the current Qualification Standards for Actuaries Issuing Statements of Actuarial Opinion in the United States depending upon your area of practice. Under the U.S. Qualification Standards, an hour of continuing education is defined as 50 minutes, and fractions of an hour may be counted.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Academy will refund the registration fee, minus $100 for administrative fees, for cancellations received by Aug. 11. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after this date.
