Larry Gorski
Highlights
Gorski has made tremendous contributions to the profession during the last 30 years. His achievements as a state regulator included the introduction of actuarial modeling into the determination of reserves, the implementation of solvency requirements based on risk exposure and the development of procedures and tools for analyzing investments. Gorski, who has been a member of the Academy since 1979, served on the Life Practice Council and on many committees, task forces, and work groups during the last 20 years. He has served on the Academy’s board of directors and currently serves on the Budget and Finance Committee.
