The Academy’s Seminar on Effective P/C Loss Reserve Opinions is designed for property/casualty actuaries who prepare or assist with preparing National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) annual statements of actuarial opinion on P/C loss reserves.
The agenda will provide information about the latest regulations and standards that apply and will help you gain an understanding of regulatory perspectives and expectations.

CE CREDIT
The American Academy of Actuaries believes in good faith that your attendance at the "Seminar on Effective P/C Loss Reserve Opinions " may constitute relevant continuing education and an organized activity as defined under the current Qualification Standards for Actuaries Issuing Statements of Actuarial Opinion in the United States depending upon your area of practice. Under the U.S. Qualification Standards, an hour of continuing education is defined as 50 minutes, and fractions of an hour may be counted. The Academy believes that this year’s agenda will enable attendees to earn up to 13.8 hours of continuing education credit.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel your registration, the Academy will refund the registration fee, minus $100 for administrative fees, for cancellations received by Nov. 4. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after this date. All requests for cancellation or transferring your registration must be made in writing by emailing education@actuary.org.
