The Academy’s popular PBR Bootcamp is now a webinar series. Starting in March 2023 and running through the end of the year, each webinar will explore a different topic in-depth and feature speakers who were at the forefront of the implementation. The webinars will cover a range of topics, including the basics for those new to principle-based reserving (PBR) and advanced topics for those who have been working in this space.
The series will kick off with governance and reporting and will cover the following:

General governance of principle-based actuarial processes;

Model governance;

Assumption governance; and
-
Explaining this in the PBR report(s).
This webinar will focus more on the basics of PBR—ideal for those who are new to this work or for those seeking a refresher.

- Upcoming webinars will cover liability modeling; assumption development; PBR reports (regulator review); combination productions, both variable annuities and life; standard projection amounts; and hedge modeling.
