ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released the 2024 Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameter Rule as well as other materials, including the 2024 final actuarial value (AV) calculator and a fact sheet. The rule finalizes the standards for issuers and marketplaces and covers various aspects of health insurance in the individual and small group markets.
The Academy's Individual and Small Group Markets Committee submitted comments on the proposed rules, which were released back in December, and the draft AV calculator. During this webinar, attendees heard an overview of the Academy's comments, whether and how they were incorporated into the final rule, and key components of the final rule.
Subject matter experts from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) will join Cori Uccello, MAAA, FSA, FCA, MPP, the Academy's senior health fellow, who moderated the discussion.
