Thank You for Your Continued Membership
November 2024
We are honored to serve and work with members like you, as well as our close to 1,000 volunteers and Academy staff, in supporting the Academy’s vital work. As we approach 2025, it’s time to renew your membership. With no dues increase this year, your renewal continues your access to resources that support your professional journey and strengthen the U.S. actuarial voice on public policy issues, providing us all a unified voice, and upholding the Academy’s commitment to advancing our profession, making an impact on policy issues, and maintaining our self-regulatory position.
Your Renewal Powers Our Vital Mission
With your support, the Academy remains a responsive and trusted leader pursuing our mission to serve the public and the U.S. actuarial profession. Membership dues underpin tangible member-only benefits, including access to high-quality, low-cost continuing education; the latest news and information on standards and industry developments; and opportunities to engage with leading actuaries and public policy stakeholders.
The Academy directs financial resources to vital efforts, such as:
- Sustaining the Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline;
- The Actuarial Standards Board and the development and revisions to essential actuarial standards of practice (ASOPs); and
- The Council on Professionalism and Education, which oversees the Code of Professional Conduct, the U.S. Qualification Standards, and more.
Combined with the Academy’s annual delivery of over 300 publications grounded in objective and unbiased actuarial analysis of key public policy initiatives, these materials are the foundations of U.S. actuarial professionalism.
Championing Professionalism and Public Policy
Your renewal also provides access to essential and timely resources, preparing you for emerging trends and policy impacts. In 2024, the Academy led vital initiatives, developing resources on AI and Big Data, climate change, health insurance, life insurance, reinsurance, retirement security, cyber risk, and more. Our new Academy Learning portal, launched this year, makes access to resources like these and our complimentary recorded webinars easier than ever for members.
Renew Today
Thank you for your commitment to actuarial professionalism and sound public policy while maintaining access to critical Academy resources to help you be a more informed U.S. practicing actuary. We look forward to another impactful year with your commitment and support.
With appreciation,
