2019 P/C Loss Reserve Law Manual
The Academy’s P/C Loss Reserve Law Manual is designed to help appointed actuaries know the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) annual statement requirements for statements of actuarial opinion (SAOs).

Updated each year, the manual contains a compilation of insurance laws relating to P/C loss and loss expense reserves for all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Users can directly access each jurisdiction’s laws, making it a useful reference tool for actuaries.

The Manual is available online, allowing actuaries to easily access relevant requirements, laws, and regulations. For those who focus on specific states, the manual is available by jurisdiction, providing an excellent option for actuaries to select areas relevant to their work.
New for 2019, the Manual is also available for order on a flash drive, replacing the previous CD-ROM version.
