During this webinar, representatives from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) discussed the changes to the 2017 unified rate review template (URRT) and instructions. CCIIO demonstrated these changes by filling out a template during the live webinar, providing a brief explanation of the expected entry for each cell as the input is entered. In addition to highlighting new changes to the URRT for 2017, including the new “plan category” field, the webinar also discussed the new capabilities to add and remove plans and products.

The American Academy of Actuaries believes in good faith that your attendance at the “A Conversation with CCIIO on 2017 Rate Filings” webinar may constitute relevant continuing education and an organized activity as defined under the current Qualification Standards for Actuaries Issuing Statements of Actuarial Opinion in the United States depending upon your area of practice. Under the U.S. Qualification Standards, an hour of continuing education is defined as 50 minutes, and fractions of an hour may be counted.
