Registration is now open for the 2011 Academy Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, which will feature a keynote address by statistician Nate Silver. Silver is the founder of fivethirtyeight.com, a political blog offering polling analytics. Silver’s blog is now a licensed feature of the New York Times. This year’s event will be held at the JW Marriot Las Vegas Resort & Spa on Oct. 24 in conjunction with the Conference of Consulting Actuaries Annual Meeting.
