Social Security basics were the focus of a one-hour Capitol Hill briefing the Academy held April 3, 2006, in the House Rayburn building. The topics included:
- The structure of the Social Security system
- Calculating benefits under the current system
- Benefit taxation and replacement ratios
The briefing also featured a preview of the Academy’s newly redesigned Social Security Game.
