The Financial Reporting Council gave policy-makers and legislative staff a primer on insurance risk at a July 9 Capitol Hill briefing. Pat Teufel, vice chairperson of the Financial Reporting Council, was the moderator. The main speakers were Tim Tongson, chairperson of the council's Banking and Financial Services Task Force, and Jim Rech, vice chairperson of the task force.
