Rerouting the Regulation of Insurance:
The Actuaries' Perspective
Capitol Hill Briefing

This Capitol Hill briefing focused on two regulatory reform issues: speed to market and price controls. The actuarial experts provided background of what is and is not being done to move insurance products to the marketplace quickly, and explored the pros and cons of price controls.

- Henry W. Siegel, vice chairperson of the Academy's Financial Reporting Committee, moderator
- Cande Olsen, an Academy member, speaking on speed to market for life insurance products
- Steven G. Lehmann, a former Academy vice president for casualty issues, speaking on price controls as applied to casualty insurers
