  • Public Service Job Announcement: GAO Chief Actuary
    The Academy has been contacted by a search firm retained by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) to identify their Chief Actuary. Reporting to the Comptroller General, the Chief Actuary will serve as the GAO's key official concerning actuarial matters pertaining to Health Care reform, Social Security reform, private and public pension plans, life insurance, health and disability insurance, unemployment insurance, flood insurance, and related federal programs that are monitored and analyzed by GAO on a government-wide basis.
